  • How do I compile an anti bullying/harassment policy?

    Anti-bullying/harassment policy are sometimes known as Dignity and Respect at work.  Contact us at SimplifyHR and we will give a competitive quote for the compilation of same.

  • How do I compile a Dignity & Respect Policy?

    A Dignity & Respect policy is also known an anti bullying, sexual harassment and harassment policy.  If you would like to devise a new policy or want to ensure your current policy is compliant please contact us.

  • How often does an employee have to be retrained in Manual Handling?

    Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work, (General Applications) Regulations 2007 state that employees should be retrained in Manual Handling every 3 years.

  • What is EAP?

    EAP stands for Employee Assistance Programme.  It can also be known as an Employee Wellbeing Programme.

    The programme is aimed to assist employees in the workplace.  Typical items on offer is Counselling services, meditation etc.

  • An employee just told me that they have a mental illness, what can I do?

    You need to support the employee.  The employee has come to you as they trust you and would like you to help them.

    Refer the employee to the Company Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) if you have one.  Alternatively, organise an appointment with an Occupational Physician.

    At all times ensure the employee is fit and healthy for work.
