An employee handbook is a useful tool for employers and employees. It sets out what is required by the company but it also assists employees if they have a question for example:
- how to apply for annual leave,
- if they are entitled to compassionate leave,
- how long a warning will remain on file,
- shift premium amount for a particular shift.
